Do I need a referral to see Dr. Plancher?+
No referral is required to schedule a visit. Many patients do arrive after a referral from another physician, which is common in sports medicine and orthopedic care, but you can also schedule directly.

What conditions does Dr. Plancher treat?+

Does Dr. Plancher perform surgery, or does he start with non-surgical treatment?+
Both, depending on the condition and how it responds to initial care. When surgery is the right next step, Dr. Plancher performs partial knee replacement, total knee replacement, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, arthroscopic Bankart repair, total shoulder replacement, reverse shoulder replacement, endoscopic elbow release, and arthroscopic nerve release for posterior shoulder pain. Your evaluation determines which path, surgical or non-surgical, fits your situation.
